I’m baaaaccckkk. After a whole month of **NO running**, I finally laced up my running shoes again and went for a nice four miler yesterday. (**Okay I admit it, I may have cheated a couple of times. I did jog a lap or two at the gym here and there. I just couldn’t help myself!!!!**) I’m feeling nice and refreshed, and ready for another year of strong running!
Now that Rock n Roll San Diego is quickly approaching (Sunday!!!!), I find it fitting to talk about a source of anxiety for every half and full marathoner: tapering. Just saying that word makes me want to cry.
The end of the school year is so close. Although it seems like just yesterday I was sitting in homeroom on the first day of school, the Will then and the Will now are two entirely different people. I know, it’s not much of a throwback. But still, I’ve changed tremendously since August 25!
