Aside from getting in super late and not getting to sleep until 6 hours after my bed time, the San Diego trip has been pretty great so far! We haven’t done much exploring (we are here for my sister’s tournament, after all). But, I’m really enjoying the weather and amazing food.
On this week’s round of Thursday Thoughts: Why Runners Refuse to Run Easy (Even when they know they should). I am SO GUILTY OF DOING THIS!!! I always tell myself I’m going to keep the pace slow on my easy runs. Yeah, this lasts a solid 3 minutes and then I naturally start to pick it up.
Are you guilty of using self limiting words or phrases like “just” or “only” when talking about your accomplishments? “I only ran 5 miles today.” “I’m just a half marathoner.” I know I use these words now and then. But we’ve got to stop it!!
The end of the school year is so close. Although it seems like just yesterday I was sitting in homeroom on the first day of school, the Will then and the Will now are two entirely different people. I know, it’s not much of a throwback. But still, I’ve changed tremendously since August 25!
