Father Appreciation Post!

A huge shout-out to all you fathers out there! Thanks for putting up with us kids no matter what sort of trouble we get into! The Teel Family had quite the Father’s Day yesterday…

IMG_0724How do I show my appreciation for my father on Father’s Day? Why, I bring him to Sunday Bootcamp, of course! I can’t think of a better way to kick off the day. We felt the burn alright. But, we had a ton of fun too. If you have an LVAC membership, you have to check out Alecia’s classes at the Northwest club. They are amazing!
Later on, we had all the fathers over for dinner and (yawn) the U.S. Open. The grandpas are all into it and I just don’t understand. Golf on TV = borrrrriiinnnggggg. We did dust off the pool table, though, so that was entertaining. Quite the tournament was going on!

The fathers agreed on Hungry Howie’s for dinner.

I wasn’t very adventurous, though, and stuck with my salmon. To be honest, I only indulge when I absolutely crave a certain junk food. If I’m not in the mood, I won’t force myself to eat it. Tonight I just wasn’t feeling pizza!

Before I let you all go, I want to give a major shout out to my dad. On top of raising two kids, he has a full time job and is working hard at finishing his schooling. His dedication motivates me to pursue all of my goals in fitness and everything else in life! And I can always count on him being there to support me through it all. I love you, dad!!

How about you?

  • Can you stand watching golf on TV or does it bore the heck out of you?
  • Will you indulge in junk food even if you aren’t craving it?
  • What did you do for Father’s Day?
