I still set the alarm bright and early so I could take this little one out for a walk! She isn’t particularly fond of other dogs, so I wanted to get out before the rush of dog walkers!!
We got in a good hour of activity and didn’t encounter any other dogs (thank goodness!)
I also had to give her the “Importance of Rest” lecture because she got excited when I picked up the leash to put it away. No more walks for the day, gotta let the muscles recover!!! (She wasn’t happy when I said this)
My mom, sister, and I headed to the gym so I could practice my BodyPump tracks with them! (5 more days!!!!!) It’s important to refuel the muscles, so we took a trip to Nekter.
I was in a toxin flushing mood so I got the Toxin Flush juice. I now feel thoroughly detoxified 🙂
Then we stopped by Sam’s Club for an essential– olive oil quinoa packs. I cried when we ran out.
I was feeling a little off yesterday afternoon, so I did something wayyy out of the norm. I took a little siesta! It felt very refreshing, and gave me enough energy for some more BodyPump practice! I repeat yet again…5 more days!!! Can’t you tell I’m excited?
Since yesterday’s post was a health rant, I never got the chance to tell you about my Fresh and Easy experience! There’s one up the street from my house, but I’ve only been in there a couple of times. We need to go much more often, they’ve got some awesome stuff! Their salmon burgers were on the menu for dinner last night and holy deliciousness.
I also (obviously) can’t get enough brussel sprouts lately. They’re currently my favorite vegetable. I just fry them up and season with some Mrs. Dash! Then I mix them with whatever I’m in the mood for, which happened to be quinoa last night!
More food to come tomorrow…WIAW is the best day of the week!!
