Runners PSA and Happy Mother’s Day!

This morning I received a little reminder of the importance of paying attention while running.

As I was running on one of my usual routes, I ran by a car the was on the sidewalk and crashed into a power box. Although it happened long before I ran by, it serves as a wake up call to all runners.

Always pay attention to your surroundings, run against traffic, and wear bright clothing. Your safety is the most important thing!

Shifting to some happier thoughts! Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there! You are all awesome 🙂

We went on a nice Mother’s Day walk. Exercise is always the best way to celebrate any occasion.

This was followed by breakfast número dos at IHOP!

More like brunch by the time we got seated (Word of advice: IHOP is packed on Mother’s Day), but it was still delicious! You’d think I would want to change up my order every now and then, but no 🙂

After we got home, I wanted to find a picture of my mom and I when I was a baby so I could put it on the blog! So, we pulled out the boxes of pictures. Looking through old photos is always a good time! Here’s my mom and I feat. my cousin.

My mom has always been there for me, through thick and thin! She has raised me to be the best person I can be. I couldn’t ask for a more loving and supportive figure in my life! Shout out to her for putting up with me all these years, especially with my expensive healthy eating and running habits 😉

Also, a huge Happy Mother’s Day shout-out to my awesome grandmas!

Here’s my wonderful Grandma Martha feat. my cute little cousin!
While looking through old photos, I found this. I was a foodie since day 1!
Have a great day, and remember to spoil your mothers! 🙂
