Who needs school? I kicked off spring break the right way: a physics trip to Magic Mountain! School has been so stressful the past few weeks, it was fun to take a little break and leave all of the work behind!
The day started at 4:45am. I made sure to come fully prepared with overnight oats and an almond butter sandwich (not pictured).
We got to the park at about 10:30 and headed straight for Batman, but it was closed 😢. So we started with Goliath, and it was a ton of fun! And we didn’t die so that’s good.
After waiting in line for 15 hours we were pretty hungry. Unfortunately, healthy options are limited at amusement parks. I settled for the healthiest thing I could find: Panda Express. I got the bowl combo (Mandarin chicken, veggies, and rice). No substitutions were allowed since all of the boxes were pre made (so no brown rice), but it was still delicious!
The day flew by after that! We got lots of rides in and headed back home! Of course, I have to document my Barstow dinner at Panera. Strawberry Poppyseed and Chicken Salad for the win!
All around it was a great day with great people (and food!) No exercise for me today, just walking around the park (I got over 10,000 steps just doing that)! I was thinking about getting up to run tomorrow, but I think the snooze button is going to win😜. 20 hours with no sleep messes you up! I’ll still be going to BodyPump though!
