Eat. Sleep. Exercise. Repeat.
This pretty much sums up my life!
My name is Will and I am a junior health freak. I am only 17 years old, but I am already a health and fitness addict. To say I have an obsession with exercise and healthy food is a HUGE understatement. In fact, I’m probably too obsessed. If any of my friends have to hear one of my health speeches again, they may or may not murder me.
Long distance running is a huge passion of mine. I used to be a member of my school’s track and cross country teams, but I quit in order to train for the races I really love: half marathons and marathons. Quitting was not easy to do. It came as a shock to everyone. But, I found what really makes me happy and decided to hold on to that! I have run in three half marathons (America’s Finest City in San Diego, Rock n Roll Las Vegas, and Rock n Roll Arizona) and I’m currently training for the Rock n Roll San Diego half marathon in May. I plan to run my first full marathon next June after I graduate from high school!
Along with running, I go to the gym almost every day. I love the Les Mills BodyPump and CxWorx classes. In fact, I’ve become so obsessed that I am planning on becoming a certified BodyPump instructor. I really think this will kick off my future career in personal training, and I cant wait to sign up for the instructor experience this summer!
Aside from fitness, I am the biggest foodie you will have ever met. I could talk about food for hours, and I have before (just ask my friends). I love all food, but some of my favorite places are Trader Joes, Cafe Rio, Panera Bread, and Chipotle. I enjoy searching for the healthy and delicious meals at all restaurants, so expect lots of food posts 😜.
